Questions Before You Register

Who can register a .sg domain?

Anyone. Unlike .com.sg or .org.sg, which are restricted to registered companies and societies, a plain .sg name is open to any individual or entity. You need a valid Singapore postal address for the Administrative Contact.

I am based overseas. Can I still take up this promotion?

Yes. Both locally-based and foreign-based registrants qualify. SGNIC requires that a foreign applicant appoints a local agent with a valid Singapore address to act as the Administrative Contact.

How soon will my domain work?

New registrations and DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to activate fully across the internet. This propagation delay applies to every registrar globally, because third-party internet providers have to refresh their own routing caches. Plan launches and email cutovers with that in mind.

What do I get besides the name?

Every domain registered through Vooju includes free domain parking, which secures your brand on our servers even before your site is built, and free URL forwarding, which sends visitors from the parked name to any website you choose.

What if I change my mind?

Cancellations requested within 7 days are refunded, less a $10 SGD administrative fee. After 7 days the registration can still be cancelled but the payment is non-refundable. If SGNIC rejects your application over missing or invalid documentation, you are refunded subject to the same $10 fee.

  2. The promotion will only be available for .sg domain registrations.
  3. Domains registered will need to qualify under the registration policies set by SGNIC.
  4. Only new registrations qualify for the promotion.
  5. This promotion cannot be enjoyed with other existing promotions/programmes.
  6. Both locally-based and foreign-based registrants are eligible for this promotion.
  7. Only a maximum of 50 names can be registered by any single registrant (corporate or individual under the promotion)
