1. Provisioning & Getting Started

What is Web Hosting? Web hosting is renting storage space on a secure internet server to host your website files and route your domain’s email addresses.

Domain Eligibility: Vooju hosts any valid global domain extension (including .com, .my, .info, and .com.sg). You do not need to purchase your domain name from Vooju to use our hosting plans.

Activation Timelines: Credit card orders clear and provision within 30 minutes. Account activations using offline payment options are processed within 1 business day of invoice receipt. New domains or nameserver switches typical complete within 1 hour but may require up to 48 hours for global DNS propagation.

2. Migration Onboarding Steps

If you are moving an active website and email service from another hosting provider to Vooju, follow this sequence to minimize potential downtime:

Retrieve Auth Codes: Obtain your transfer-out password from your existing registrar if you wish to consolidate your domain billing under Vooju. Initiate a domain name transfer from your Vooju Account Admin Panel (Transfers can take up to 8 days).

Mirror Mailboxes: Log into Vooju and create identical email addresses to match your previous setup (e.g., user@yourdomain.com). This ensures your mailboxes are structurally ready to receive traffic.

Deploy Files: Upload a backup copy of your website assets using your 24-hour FTP access to Vooju’s web server.

Cut Over DNS: Update your domain’s nameservers at your registrar to ns1.vooju.com and ns2.vooju.com. If you require assistance with this, please contact us

Propagation Window: Monitor both spaces for 48 hours as internet networks update their caches. Check your legacy email server one final time after 2 days to grab any stray incoming emails.


📬 Classic and Prime Hosting Plans & Storage Allocation

Disk Space & Limitations

Shared Allocations: Storage space within your chosen hosting tier is dynamic and shared seamlessly between web content and email space. If you do not have a live website deployed, 100% of your disk quota defaults to mailbox storage.

Mailbox Creation: There is no hard limit on the total number of physical email addresses or mail-forwarding aliases you can create under your domain; limits are dictated entirely by your plan’s total disk space capacity.

Attachment Maximums: The absolute maximum file size permitted by Vooju’s mail gateways is 50MB. However, to ensure high deliverability rates across strict third-party recipients, we strongly recommend keeping all file attachments under 10MB.

Anti-Spam & Protection: Enhanced security scans are available via EmailArmour for a nominal domain-level fee. This continuously scrubs incoming payloads for malware and phishing lists. Always maintain external offline backups of your database and system assets.

Anti-Spam Policy: Vooju email accounts are provided on a strict fair-use basis. Bulk marketing distributions, unconfirmed mailing lists, and any forms of unsolicited spam are strictly prohibited.


💳 Billing Lifecycle & Account Upgrades

Contract Terms

Minimum Commitments: New standard and corporate infrastructure options carry a minimum 1-year baseline contract term to eliminate recursive month-to-month processing overhead.

Plan Upgrades & Enhancements

You can scale or modify your infrastructure tiers at any point during your live contract term.

Add-ons (e.g., MySQL Databases): Billed at an incremental pro-rated baseline fee (e.g., $2 SGD per connection/month).

Plan Upgrades: You only pay the pro-rated cost difference remaining on your contract cycle. Vooju applies a credit balance from your unused lower tier directly toward the cost of the higher platform tier.

Custom Requirements: To scale your plan beyond our standard plans, contact us with hosting your requirements.

Expiration Warning Timelines

To prevent service disruptions, automated renewal warnings are dispatched to your primary billing address every Sunday starting exactly 2 months (60 days) prior to your hosting package expiration date.

⚠️ Data Deletion Policy: No further alerts are sent after a plan passes its expiration date. Vooju retains data archives for a strict 30-day grace period following expiration before all database, web space, and mailbox data are permanently purged from our servers.
